A Few More

...but not all. There were a few disasters.

Sketch Cards

A bunch of us at work did these. I see Anthony posted his already. Nice!!! I'm sure others will show there's too. It's nice to see how we work when not on a computer. Everyone did such nice work. Congratulations to everyone, hooray for us we are wonderful. I'm gonna post some more soon.

Clone Wars Season 2

Please watch season 2 of Clone Wars. We worked hard on it. It gets better and better. I think you will like it.

So Much Rad from Lucas Arts!

I'm not at LucasArts anymore so I get to be a fanboy. There are a bunch of really exciting things to mention. First, Monkey Island. Some really talented friends at LucasArts did an amazing job creating new art for the re-release of this game. I really admire their work. I look forward to playing the game and seeing what this team does in the future. Second, another group of talented friends over at TellTale games is doing Tales of Monkey Island so the series will be alive again and continue into the future! Hooray!!!! Lastly, but not leastly is Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2) which many of us there sort of helped out on...sort of. Check this stuff out pretty cool. Also, here is an incredible trailer for Star Wars the Old Republic. Wow! http://www.gametrailers.com/game/the-secret-of-monkey-island/11405 http://www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/tales-of-monkey-island-trailer/320040 http://www.gametrailers.com/video/debut-trailer-indiana-jones/44918 http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-star-wars/49937

Still Here

It's been a while. I finally bought a new computer and hopefully I can get back to posting things on occasion. Here are some more Gouache studies from around Mt. Tam (again) I did a few months ago. I'd like get better at painting trees...

Julien

This is our new son Julien, he took 9 long months to create. My wife did most of the work.

Gouache Landscapes from Around Mt. Tam

I'm trying to get out once in a while to do some landscapes. There are so many amazing sites to paint here I wish I could get to them all.

Have Your Socks Knocked Off!!!!

This is Battle Milk, a lovely art book put together by the incredibly talented Jackson Sze, Kilian Plunkett, Thang Le and Wayne Lo. Every time I try and look at it my socks get knocked off again. I highly recommend this. Good job guys!

Some LucasArts Work

Hey, here are a couple concepts I did for some of the upcoming games from LucasArts. All of this has been published elsewhere so I think it's cool to post these now. Hopefully I'll be able to post more in the future when the games are released!

Thanks

I need to extend a humongous thank you to all the incredibly talented folks I have the chance to come to work with over the years at LEC. I’ve learned a lot of good stuff from you guys. I still can’t believe my fortune to have had such an opportunity. I wish you guys all the best!

Riding to the Coast

My good buddy Brian and I decided to go for a ride out to the coast west of Mt. Tam the other day. It was a hoot. We just rode, ate, camped and drew pictures. Here’s an awesome one of Bert and Ernie that Brian did.

Oh yeah I started this blog...

Faucets

These are some faucets from a story I'm woking on about Umbrellas that hijack rainclouds.

Point Reyes

Brandi, Cosmo and I took a trip out to Point Reyes last weekend. I love it out there, it really feels like your at the very end of the continent and the lighthouse is at the very edge.

ADAPT 07

Montreal! We went to the ADAPT conference last week. Sort of mini Siggraph where the focus is on the art. Check it out! There were some amazing folks and lots of inspiring work being done everywhere!
